Pak And Afghan Militants In Tit For Tat Attacks

Asad abad – 5 civilians and 33 policemen are dead in a cross over fight after Taliban crossed over from Pakistan. There was an attack on remote region located in eastern part of Afghanistan. This was told by an official on Wednesday. As per provincial governor of Nuristan, Jalaluddin badr, 40 rebels have died in past clashes in two days. This was because of tit for tat allegations of cross border attacks. These created diplomatic tensions.

There was contradiction from interior ministry stating death of 12 policemen and injury to other 5. The rebels triggered fight at time of crossing and also attacked posts in district of kamdesh. 600 militants of Afghanistan infiltrated in pak and there was an attack on two villages on Wednesday.

Abdul sattar, an official said, “According to reports from the two villages, between 550-600 militants launched the attack at around 5am and the fighting continued for several hours.”

Four pro government tribesmen were wounded in attack. Pak says more than 55 soldiers are killed in cross over border in previous month.
