China has previously aided Pakistan to build its major nuclear clout at Chashma in Punjab region. This province already has two reactor one running successfully and the other about to finish. Despite this it is planning to built two more reactors in this reason.

Vice President of China National Nuclear Corporation Mr. Qiu Jiangang, said that the company was already looking ahead of those deals to an yet superior plant. “Both sides are in discussions over the CNNC exporting a one-gigawatt nuclear plant to Pakistan.

He established the fact that two countries had signed an agreement to construct the No 3 and No 4 reactors of about 300 megawatts each at Chashma. However he did not provided details about the members involved in the discussion. The future growth of China’s nuclear power ties with Pakistan is probable to amplify restlessness in Washington, Delhi and other capitals of the world.  Pakistan is a long-standing partner of China, and has been suffering chronic power shortages.
