Men are more prone to awake at night. There may be many reasons for that, sometimes their own loud snoring and other factors also at times.
As per U.S. scientists, sound sleep is very important for better health. Consistent problem in sleep may cause strokes and heart problems. According to statistics, around 1 in 5 men suffers heart attack in Britain compared to one in seven women.
Scientists conducting the research observed sleeping pattern of around 784 men around 65 years of age.
Natasha Stewart, of the British Heart Foundation, said: “We would need to see more research in other age groups and involving women to confirm this particular association.”
