The president of the US barrack obama went to military base of US to celebrate Christmas with the US soldiers. He went there alongwith his wife michelle obama. The first family made a visit that was not announced earlier. The visit was to the base of marine corps Hawaii. The president and his wife spent around one and a half hour with marines.

The couple took pictures, shook hands and also had a Christmas meal. Earlier, obama had visited the base in the year 2008 and 2009 on the eve of Christmas vacations. He urged the fellow Americans for a complete support to the men in uniform.
