New York: The president of the US barrack Obama is planning a trip to India in the month of Nov and the first lady Michelle is showing lot of excitement about it. This information was conveyed by Obama to the external affairs minister of India SM Krishna at a reception ceremony hosted by the national history museum for the meeting of the heads at the United Nations general assembly.

The president had earlier made references of his upcoming trip to India earlier at the UN general assembly meeting.

Obama said at the gathering –

“Later this fall, I will travel to Asia. I will visit India, which peacefully threw off colonialism and established a thriving democracy of over a billion people.
