The sedan has many innovative specifications and features. The Maruti R3 is a concept car and it has capacity of 6 seats with high head room. The Maruti R3 comes with dynamic looks and attractive styling. The car is expected to be launched in India in the year of 2011 and price would be around Rs. 6 lakh to 8 lakh.

The car Maruti R3 will be smaller than Innova and its main rivals would be Toyota Innova, Tata Sumo Grande, Mahindra Xylo and other 6 seater MUV anticipated to be launched in this time frame. The R3 has latest 1196cc engine and max torque of 101N at 3000rpm and 73bhp of raw power at 6000 rpm. The Maruti R3 has 3 rows of seat to offer 6 comfortable seating. The sedan is powered with K-series engine which exits in the modern cars of Maruti including New Wagon R and Ritz.
