According to a panel of radiotherapist thousands of cancer patients are not given radiotherapy which is the most successful treatment. Only few people are getting radiotherapy as GPs and most of the public think drugs and surgery are the best treatment for cancer.

They said this can explain the fact that why UK has the less cancer survival rates. The national clinical director of government said in radiotherapy more money was invested. It is estimated that in UK about 52% of cancer patients received radiotherapy but the actual figure is very less.

According to experts approximately 30,000 cancer patients are not getting the best treatment.

The President of the Royal College of Radiologist Dr. Jane Barnett said, twenty years ago it was told that radiotherapy was the best treatment of past and acted like magic bullet. But still radiotherapy is a magic bullet.

Even the professional never realized that radiotherapy can become a modern medicine with the use of computer technology.
