Former Inter manager Rafa Benitez feels the Real Madrid team is the favorite to win the La Liga this time. Los Blancos are currently seven points ahead of Barcelona sitting at top position of the table.

Benitez insisted the trophy would not stay at Nou Camp this season. He said “Madrid have a big advantage, a great and competitive squad and they have not won the title in a long time, so they are hungry.”

He added “They are the favourites. In a couple of matches, everything can change, but their advantage is considerable and I do not think they will relax.”

He pointed Barcelona would keep excellent level of game, but so would Real Madrid.

51 years old Benitez is currently without any work after he was sacked from Inter during 2010. He feels his priority now is returning to Premier League.

He expressed he likes this league the most as he knows the way it performs and how the coach has to do his work there. He is aware of the responsibilities involved in it.

He also remarked about Fernando Torres and his performance. He coached the striker during his period at Liverpool. He insisted the Chelsea forward is a talented player who is improving. He also complemented about the good attitude of player.
