Russia And India Fail To Sign Deed To Extend The Nuclear Plant
Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India and Dmitry Medvedev, President of Russia failed to extend the deed for nuclear plant.

Mr Singh stated that the work would be finished at the plant in Koodankulam of Tamil Nadu. However, they did not sign a deed on other units. The plant is under the safety measure.
Russia also supported them about the permanent seat of India in UN Security Council. During the meetings, India signed a contract to get fighter jets like 42 Sukhoi Su-30MKI.
According to Mr Singh one united of Koodankulam will work from few weeks and other from next 6 months. The temporary issues with safety will be improved very soon. It was expected that they would sign deeds on other units too but it did not happen.
Mr Singh said to the media that “The protests at Koodankulam reflect the concerns of people about the safety of nuclear energy,” And added that the government will take serious actions on this matter and continue the talk about nuclear plants with Russia.
Mr Medvedev and Mr Singh also talked about economic and defense issues.
