Sachin Tendulkar reached Bangalore on Monday to join the remaining team prior to the Group B World Cup match versus England to be held on 27th February. He is cleared of the risk of any injury following the MRI scan.

It is not confirmed by the team management whether he will be joining the training session of the team at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.

The master blaster underwent the MRI scan at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The scan cleared him and showed no problems.

Indian captain MS Dhoni also reached the city on Monday from Ranchi after attending the National Games on Sunday.

Mostly, Indian players remained at hotel and only speedsters Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan spent time at the NCA Gymnasium.
