Samsung TV2.0 All Set To See, Listen And Do Things

Samsung, the South Korean manufacturer finally gave a preview of the coming attractions at the CES 2012. And it is very clear that the Smart TV 2.0 is sure to play a vital role in the company’s future.

The initiative basically focuses on smart content, smart evolution and smart interaction.

According to Mr. Boo Yoon, president of Samsung’s consumer electronics division the TV’s will have an integrated camera apart from a microphone, which would allow the TV’s to listen, see and do things.

This would mean that the users can ditch the remote and use their voice or even hand gestures to control the TV. It will also have the option of logging into your TV using facial recognition.

Apart from this using family story can be interesting as well as it will allow the users to show the photos, memos and even videos from their mobile device.

It is said that ES8000 LED TV by Samsung has a dual core processor which is used for app multi-tasking. For example you can toggle from Netflix to any movie to NHL game centre and then back and all this without relaunching or quitting any of the apps.

It has a very slim bezel and a unique U-shaped stand. Also it is available in different sizes. Samsung also came up with55 inches OLED TV.

It has a built in camera apart from a mic that will be used for voice and the gesture control. It also has a dual-core processor that will be used for app multitasking.

The whole thing has been referred to as a very giant leap in the TV industry by Joe Stinziana, V.P of Samsung America. It is to be noted here that Samsung has continues with its investment in 3D.

Also it has teamed up with different companies like NBC Universal so that it can provide the previously 2D content in 3D.
