Sedentary Life is as Bad as Smoking: Research

A recent research has stated that sedentary lifestyle is as bad for health as smoking. Though you may feel relaxed lying on bed and watching TV all the time,  that can greatly tell up on your health.

According to Dr.David Coven, smoking enhances the risk of cardiovascular disease and sitting also is equivalent to smoking in many cases. Earlier also, studies have revealed that sedentary lifestyle is associated to many heart related problems including obesity, cancer, diabetes, and even premature death.

According to exercise expert Steven Blair, around 50 million Americans live a sedentary life. This leads to an unwelcome chain of events including obesity, heart disease, diabetes and cancer also.

Here are some simple steps you can follow:

Use stairs instead of life. And make it more effective by running up and down rather than just walking with heavy steps.
