Somalia Is In The Top Most List Of Corruption Perception Index
This news can shock you that Somalia is in the hit list of global corruption survey.
According to the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), a corruption monitoring organization based in Berlin, Germany, claimed that Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore are seen as having the least corruption in the world whereas Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Myanmar have high corruption.”
The CPI has given score to countries this year according to their level of corruption in fields, bribery of public officials, kickbacks in public procurement, embezzlement of public funds and strength and effectiveness of public sector anti-corruption.”
Countries with the highest scores are counting as having the least corruption and the countries with the lower scores are known as highly corrupt nations.
The countries, Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore have scored 9.3 out of a possible 10.
Finland and Sweden have scored 9.2 and are in the second position. Canada scored 8.9 and is in the third position. Netherlands 8.8, Australia and Switzerland 8.7, Norway 8.6 and Japan scored 7.8 and is in the 17th positions. UK scored 7.6, in the 21th positions and the United States of America got 7.1, in the 22nd positions.
At the bottom, the countries Afghanistan and Myanmar scored 1.4 and Somalia scored 1.1.
