Google has opened its first store at Tottenham Court Road which is one of the major roads of London. In store, various things are available for people to buy like Google’s Chromebook laptop, headphones and other accessories.

If it succeeds, Google can plan to open its other stores around the world to compete with its rival companies like Apple. The store has given a name ‘the Chromezone’. But as of now, very less customers are aware of it.

‘It is our first foray into physical retail. This is a new channel for us and it’s still very, very early days. It’s something Google is going to play with and see where it leads’ said by Arvind Desikan, the head of Google UK consumer marketing. Then he said that as per the research around eighty percent laptops sell through stores.

Google has ground 1,500 employees in London and the store is a good addition by them to attract people. They just want to increase their popularity among them and compete with their rivals.
