Study On Rare Costa Rican Bird Is Going On

Southern Costa Rica: In the rural town of Rincon Karen Leavelle was standing on the parking of the river side restaurant. And above her head she was holding a six pronged, mini golf club sized contraption, with wrinkles on her forehead she looked towards the tree tops.

She was looking to the Costa Rican birds. This is a rare Costa Rican Bird which is among many species in danger of vanishing.

A radio transmitter has been put by the Scientists on the three yellow billed Cotinga, which are extremely rare Costa Rican birds. Only 250 to 1000 of these birds are left but the Scientists are still lacking to know about the basic facts of these birds.

Knowing about, where the birds go and how they live can help researchers to protect the entire ecosystems that are in danger.
