Subaru-Toyota Concept Collaboration Ready for Geneva Preview
The upcoming Geneva Motor Show will witness a preview of the Subaru ‘Boxer Sports Car Architecture’ concept which is currently under joint development with Toyota.
Subaru said that the partnership with Toyota proved hugely successful as the project could be executed in a timely and cost-effective manner as planned by the auto giants.
Based on an all new platform and featuring Subaru’s new design direction, the concept vehicle boasts of the brand’s trademark which is the Horizontally Opposed Boxer engine technology and is said to revolutionize the rear wheel drive format currently being used in most cars.
The Geneva Show will also witness the new Subaru Impreza Concept and the new Subaru Trezia. Both vehicles have been designed to meet the increasing demand for small, environmentally friendly cars in Europe. The cars will feature left hand model for now and study of right hand drive version will see possible introduction to UK car market.
