Swine Flu Virus Resistant To Traditional Vaccines

To slow down the Swine flu infection, it is not only necessary to lower the number of human to human infection but also pig to human.

Nowadays it has become difficult to prevent swine flu as the new strains of virus are becoming resistant to the traditional vaccines.

In farms the infected pigs should be kept separated from the healthy animals for around three months till they are totally free of the disease, then they should be allowed back in herds. As far as transmission to human is concerned, the worker in the farms should wear hand gloves and face masks to prevent this disease.

The major cause of this disease is through close contact with ill animals. As the number of infected animals decreases the chance of human infection from the animals also decreases. The farm workers who smoke are more prone to this disease.

In humans, it spreads through coughs and sneezes by the infected persons, as the healthy person near to him can get this disease through contaminated air. So it is necessary to always wash your hands and keep distance from the infected person, and avoid public gathering. So to prevent this disease it is essential keep distance from infected person.
