In Telangana Election-TRS Candidates Emerged Out Victorious

In Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh where the by-elections were held recently TRS candidates emerged victorious in eleven of the twelve assembly constituencies and the BJP retained the lone seat held by it. In the early hours on Saturday, the TRS nominee won from the five assembly constituencies whose results were announced.
TRS candidate E Rajendra from Huzurabad defeated his nearest TDP rival by a margin of 55,360 votes. K Vidyasarag Rao TRS candidate won by a margin of 45,895 votes against his Congress rival J Ratnakar Rao. K Chandrashekhar Rao TRS President son of K T Rama Rao won by a majority of 44,642 votes over his rival K K Mahinder Reddy from Congress, in Sircilla. E Ravinder Reddy TRS candidate defeated his rival Mohammad Ali Sabire from Congress.
TRS nominee D Vinay Bhaskare trounced his Congress rival by a margin of 67,524 votes, in Warrangal West constituency. As ballot papers were used for polling as a number of candidates exceeded the limit of sixty four for an EVM.
The results which were announced yesterday TRS has bagged six constituencies. The seat of Nizamabad was retained by Bhartiya Janta Party. As the sitting MLAs – 10 from TRS and one each from BJP and TDP had quit their post in support of separate Telangana demand, therefore by-election were necessitated. In the current elections the TDP MLA has subsequently joined TRS and won from Vemulawada.
The whole election process completed peacefully without any major incident of violence and electoral malpractices. The Election Commission had made all the necessary security arrangements for the peaceful conduct of polls.[/private]
