The UN has suggested reforms for the IPCC led by R k pachauri keeping in view the Himalayan blunders like melting of Himalayan glaciers as per the reports of the year 2007.  As per the reports of the inter academy council, the conclusions that had error was primarily because of the failure in the review process.

The fact is that the organization IPCC came under heavy attack because of the reports that told that Himalayan glaciers will totally melt by the year 2035.

Pachauri said –

“We also have to remember that honest scientific discourse wilts under gross distortions and ideologically driven posturing. Sadly, such tactics have been a prominent feature of climate science for many years – and they show no signs of letting up
