Tiger Airways to be Began a Second Daily Flight on Jakarta to Singapore Route from Jan 2011

tiger-airwaysTiger Airways will soon start a second daily flight on its popular Jakarta to Singapore way. The airline has confirmed the second flight will effective on January 11, 2011. The officials of the airline had commented that in July this year the airline secured additional rights to operate a second daily service to Jakarta in the distribution of limited traffic rights by Singapore’s Air Traffic Rights Committee (ATRC). The right to start a new airline service is also appealed by a competitor airline but this right has only given to Tiger Airways.

Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director, Tiger Airways Singapore remarked that the company is looking forward to increase its services on its popular Jakarta-Singapore route. He added, we are planning to bring down fares for tourists and business travelers who fly regularly between these two important ASEAN capitals.

More flights are on sale from as low as SGD 20 plus taxes for travel between January 11- September 30, 2011.
