Toyota has launched its much awaited small car Liva in India. The Japanese car maker company’s new car is petrol variant and price of the car is between Rs. 3.99 lakh and Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex- showroom, Delhi).

The company also invested Rs. 3200 crore to setup its second manufacturing facility in Bangalore.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Managing Director Hiroshi Nakagawa said, “The company, which is present in India through a joint venture with the Kirloskar Group, has invested Rs 3,200 crore to set up its second manufacturing facility in Bangalore with an initial installed capacity of 70,000 units per annum.

With Liva we will now be a complete manufacturer in India, offering a full range of products including the luxury SUV Prado… Liva is a very useful stylish and dynamic car.”

Last year company had launched Etios which is a sedan version of Liva in the country.

Nakagawa said, “We will increase the production of the second plant from 70,000 units to 1,20,000 units to shorten the waiting period for Etios and meet future demand of Liva.”
