Travel And Tourism Industry Is On Hike: UNWTO Said

Travel and tourism industries, according to United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), have a growth of 4.4% last year. They have added that this growing trend will also follow this year. The total number of arrivals has increased from 939 million in 2010 to 980 millions in 2011.

Europe is leading a growth by 6%. From 28 million of travelers to 41 million travelers from worldwide showcases their growth at all the levels. In South America too the scenario is same.

They have got a 156 millions of travelers in 2011. They got altogether 10% of growth. America overall has got the 4% of growth.

In case of North America and Middle East, the picture is diametrically opposite. Their travel and tourism industry were down by 10% on an average.

Still, UAE, Oman along with Saudi Arabia got are cautiously optimistic to get growth despite this down in their economy of tourism industry. UNWTO predicts a growth of 6% in Asia and the Pacific while America will get a hike in this industry by 4% reaching the benchmark of 1 billion this year.

WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council) has forecasted that every year, this industry will grow by 4% in the coming 10 years. They expect to get 3-4%of hike in the number of arrivals this year.

Where, they hope Middle east and Japan to be more strong in tourism industry just after getting rid of political upheavals and natural calamities. A picture of growth is shining like a new penny at every corner of the World.
