A TSA security officer at Florida’s Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport patted down a 95-year-old cancer-stricken woman. They forcibly removed her adult diaper due to suspect of carrying illegal things. This shocking news comes to limelight after CNN report.

Jean Weber was travelling with her old mother on June 18 from Florida to Michigan as her mother was hoping to meet her relatives. According to Jean her mother is in her final stage of leukemia and has a blood transfusion the week before they planned to travel Michigan.

Weber told to CNN that her mother diaper was wet and firm while they were in the airport. A security officer suspected of carrying illegal things in her diaper and he forcibly ordered to remove diaper. At that time Weber didn’t have extra diaper and she burst into tears but her mother was clam.

She was forced to go through the airport without underwear. Her elderly mother was taken to the boarding gat but Weber was still going through the security.

In response of this shocking event on Sunday, TSA officials said, “every person and item must be screened before entering the security boarding area. TSA works with passengers to resolve security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner. We have reviewed the circumstances involving this screening and determined that our officers acted professionally and according to proper procedure.”

On Monday, there was a slight change seen in the statement of TSA.  The officials accepted that there was no need to remove an adult diaper of this passenger.
