Twitter Acquires Anti-Malware And Internet Security Company Dasient
Twitter raised fight flag against malware and involved Dasient in his fighter’s team. The popular social networking website bought Dasient to fight against malware today.
Dasient wrote on its blog, “Effective immediately, we will be bringing our technology, tools, and team to the revenue engineering team at Twitter.” The company is one of well-known company specialized in web security and malware protection.
Dasient introduced its anti-malware platform for web in the year 2009. And in the year 2010 it’s debuted first anti-malvetising service to provide protection to websites from “malicious ads.”
Dasient wrote on its blog, “By joining Twitter, Dasient will be able to apply its technology and team to the world’s largest real-time information network. As part of this merger, Dasient is winding down its business and is no longer able to accept new customers.”
The company reported last year that malware attacks on websites had nearly doubled from previous year and malvertising is on the rise.
Let’s hope the new team would do something better for its users.
