UK Wants Unity On Repression In Syria

Syria

London: The UNSC has failed to reach an agreement with regard to the condemnation by Britain and other members regarding the violent crackdown on the peaceful protestors in Syria. Portugal, Germany, Britain and France issued the statement of draft media and wanted the 15 member council to condemn such violent acts.

The ambassador of UK to the United Nations, sir Mark lyall said, “We condemn utterly and without reservation the violence and killings perpetrated by the Syrian security forces against civilians who are expressing their views in peaceful protests.”

He wanted an immediate reform.  He said there has to be the honor of basic human rights in the area of freedom of speech and expression. He further said if the violence does not end, we will look for the measures with UN and other allies.
