After months of speculation, David and Victoria Beckham have announced they have decided to call their fourth child Harper Seven Beckham.

David confirmed the news on his Facebook profile after Victoria gave birth of a baby girl. David confirmed on the social media site, “We are very happy to name their fourth child Herper Seven Beckham and the baby is healthy weighed 7 lb 10oz. Victoria gave birth at 7:55 yesterday morning in L.A.”

He added on his Facebook profile, “his wife Victoria is now well and our sons are delighted to have a baby sis xx.”

It is believed that the seven to be a reference to David’s football number when he played for Manchester United England, while the Harper could be referring to Harper’s Bazaar magazine or perhaps To Kill A Mockingbird author Harper Lee.

But their close friends say another thing. One says, “Victoria likes the Harper name which is an old English name and the couple considers Seven as a lucky number. Also, the baby was born near about 7.”

A spokesperson said that the couple is excited to announce the birth of their daughter.

The baby girl was born by elected Caesarean, in the same way as her older children.

David happiness is clearly showing as he posted his pregnant wife photo earlier on his Facebook page profile.

David’s UK –based sis Joanne Beckham congratulate her brother on her Twitter profile whereas other actresses like Emma Bunton gave congratulation to Beckhams family.
