A research was carried out on some 3000 New Yorkers that was claimed to having matched with different personalities to various type of wine.

For instance a loud and social animal person like reality star Amy Childs would opt for ‘zest and crisp’ wine which can be Sauvignon Blanc. But an assertive and serious character like Lord Sugar would go for an Italian-red like Primitivo.

Newlywed couples like Prince William and new wife Duchess of Cambridge would go for Californian Pinot Noir.

These studies were compiled according to the preferences of customers at Oddbins. They were asked to compile and pick up their favorite wines that best described their prices.

The researchers were able to match some distinctive character type with the type of wine they chose. From all these, it was concluded that a thoughtful and serious person would go for full-blooded Italian wine  while an outgoing person would go for something light and bubbly.
