As per a survey it is found that it is a myth that women spend several hours to get ready as to impress their men. This is because most of the women dress up to impress their peers.

In a poll of 2000 people it is found that two third of them dress up nicely to get compliments from other women. And 6 out of 10 women aging 18 – 30 said while dressing they had their girlfriends in mind.

More than one fourth of the women said when they dress up nicely; compliments mostly come from women compared to men. It is always assumed that women usually go out to impress opposite sex, but according to this research this is not always true in every case.

The fact is that most of the women are concerned about what their peers think about their appearance and it is natural. The spokesman said “On the whole, women are much more in the know when it comes to clothes, make-up and style, so it’s not a surprise that girls go out to impress other women as opposed to men.”

In a survey it is said by nearly half of the women that they never dressed up purely to hook a man and 22 percent of women said that a man’s opinion doesn’t matter to them at all.

The simple spokesman added that for women appearance is an important matter and at every situation they want to look good. It is good to know that most of the women dress up to impress their peers and not the opposite sex.
