World To Face Chocolate Crisis By 2014

Political unrest and insufficient security among cocoa farmer are causing instability in the production of chocolate. According to the expert our world is facing chocolate drought. According to them supplies of cocoa is going to be exhausted by 2014.
There are many reasons behind the crisis. Ivory Coast is facing Political unrest. It supplies majority of cocoa beans to the world, in-fact 50 to 60%. The farmers there have been exhausted by political disturbance. Most of them have fled the country.
And the remaining are smuggling there cocoa to the countries at Ghana where there are getting higher rates for the same. Many have run away from the nation. Even if the political circumstance recovers, it will take about three more years for the certified farmers to attain its previous level production.
