WorldStarHipHop Seized By 50 Cent

After a long rival 50 Cent claimed he had seized the domain name, WorldStarHipHop.com is back online. In the mid of the year when Hip Hop site was offline, 50 Cent posted some messages in Twitter claiming that he was responsible for the outage.

When various sources started reporting 50 backed away from his previous statement and reported the site to the department of Homeland Security or immigrations.

50 said “I didn’t shut down”. He said now it’s up to the public they will decide.

After a short period, the site’s CEO, Q, called in to Hot 97 and said the outage was of some server and technical issue.

50 Cent the controversial claimed, he was responsible for the domain name WorldStarHipHop.com seized. In 2009, 50 was involved in a dispute with World Star, he filed a copyright violence against the site.

In 2009 in an interview with Atlanta’s DJ Greg, 50 said he want to tie WorldStar in the judicial proceeding to win the irrelevant battle.

In the interest of disclosure, many sites including HipHopDX as an exception to WorldStarHipHop’s practice has taken the videos without permission through a process called “stream ripping”.

During press time, no images were there to confirm that either office was involved in taking WorldStarHipHop offline. But 50 Cent by Twitter sent many messages taking the credit.
