A good news for all proud You Tube viewer. Now You Tube has become the second largest search engine Following Google who at present is at top position.

This six year old website has exclusively caught the eye of the world. And from the past couple of year’s growth and popularity of the site has been extra ordinary. You Tube presently is getting 2 billion views in a single day which is just double of the previous year stats.

Six year back i.e. in 2005 it was started by three pay pal employee. In the very next year it achieved the first milestone when Google bought it for $1.65 billion. And now it is proving itself as a tough competitor for TV.

Gautam Anand Director of Google INC said that “We consider that, the difference between internet and TV viewing will fast fade away as on-demand video takes center stage.”

Seeing the response You Tube is coming with innovative techniques and figuring out fresh ways to make money. For instance in United States it has signed with MGM and CBS. The two channels can now upload films and episodes of serial with ads.

In India it has approx 20 million users with sports and film as top priorities. Cricket tops the list followed by Bollywoods popular films footage.

Google has still not revealed that You Tube is in Profit or not. However according to company stances, it will continue to tender free content to gain traffic and generate ad revenues.

In US along it has more than thousand ad partner. Popular companies like Samsung, HSBC, SBI, HUL, Coca-Cola, Hero Honda, Airtel and Nokia are among the advertisers on YouTube.
